The Periodicals Reading Room offers free access to a collection of newspapers, magazines and other publications. The library currently subscribes to eight newspapers and 21 magazines. An archive of publications is also kept here. The oldest newspaper in the Šilalė district, ‘Šilalės Artojas’, is stored here as well.
